Normal service will be resumed...

Aaaaaaaaarrrrggghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate computers!!!!

I hate the fact that I have become so reliant on ours.

My routine was completely loused up today.

Normally it's - take kiddie to school, come home, have coffee, read emails, read blog updates, check ebay then go and hit the sewing.

But today.....

today!?!?!?!?

I tried to boot up the 'pute and

nothing happened.

:o(

Throughout the day I have tried repeatedly to boot it up - nothing.

I have been sooooooooooooooooo frustrated not being able to check anything.

So I waited 'til OH came home and, on bended knee, begged him to have a look at it. And what did he do?...

He pressed the power button and the bloody thing booted up no problem!!!!

I hate computers!!!!!
but I love 'em too.

PS Yay!! Fonejacker's back!!!!

My hubby is an IT guy...he always asks me 'Have you tried turning it off and back on again?'....I scowl at him....because usually I haven't! Hope you have smoother 'puter interactions tomorrow! Jen

We've had the same problems at work. We once called out the techy guys because the printer wasn't working....it had run out of ink! Hey-ho!

I was without my computer for three days and I thought the world would end! It was so frustrating knowing there was a whole lot going on out there that I wasnt part of. How sad is that? My husband makes me watch fonejacker, why dont they just put the phone down when he winds them up?

I can sympathise!
Luckily my dear DH is a 'puter expert and I only have to smile sweetly (or do something similar!!) and he is there in a flash to help ! ;-)

That used to happne tome with my car. I had a VW polo about 8 years ago and when I'd been going in it about 10 or 15 miles it would just die. I'd sit on the side of the M65 or other road, wait for the RAC man and he would just put the key in the ignition and it would be fine. I think they thought I wanted a man. I got it fixed in the end and we did over 100,000 miles together!
